Hi, I'm Connor.
The Copper Den is a space I created to explore, reflect, and share my journey as an aspiring writer and seeker of purpose.
About me
I studied English and Economics at the University of Virginia. I appreciate both the creative and practical elements of these majors and how they interconnect. Since graduating, I've worked as a consultant in the SaaS space. I've always wanted to write more, though. The Copper Den is my way of writing more and finding my voice.
About The Copper Den
The Copper Den's name comes from two favorite series of mine. In Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series, copper is a metal used for magically storing memories. In Pierce Brown's Red Rising series, Sophocles is a fan-favorite fox. I decided to combine those two elements as an inspiration for this site.
The Copper Den is intended to be a place for me to document my thoughts on purpose, share lessons from my experiences, and explore creativity through writing.
